Tourism Ministry statistics show the highest number of Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) participants in 2009 came from Iran (212), followed by Japan (169) and the United Kingdom (162).But accumulatively, from 2002 to 2008, participants from China formed the largest group with 2,298 MM2Hers, Bangladesh 1,732 and the UK 1,495.Meanwhile, a group of MM2Hers has formed MM2H (Homers) Association, now awaiting Registrar of Societies approval. An adviser to the group said it will work with the MM2H Agents Association to give the homers a collective voice.
