The scheme, Country Heights Sports Living, with modern sports-style living in a gated and guarded community aims to draw Singaporeans, Japanese and South Koreans. Country Heights sales and marketing manager Leslie Low said 642 units comprising double-storey, semi-detached and bungalow houses were planned on a 28.76ha site near Malacca International Trade Centre and Autocity.
The second phase with 167 units will commence in 2010 and be completed in 2011, while the third phase comprising 158 units of resort homes, 22 units of link -bungalows and 11 units of bungalows will start in 2011 and be completed in 2012. The two-storey resort home design will have security doors on the first floor with spacious bedrooms, balcony and separate dry and wet kitchens. Low said one of the project’s unique features would be the construction of a 1.3ha sports centre, which combines indoor, outdoor and aqua sports facilities.
The project includes 59 shoplots, which is the only property available for local buyers at RM418,950 each. “The design of the double-storey shoplots is inspired by Baba-Nyonya architecture. The exterior will resemble the historic buildings in Jonker Street, Malacca,” Low said. Source: TheStar Add this page to your favorite Social Bookmarking websites
